This week at Tenementum, we continue to investigate changes in the name of tenement holders of current Queensland resource tenements over time in more detail.

For this graph, we weighted each transfer of an ownership interest according to the percentage interest transferred and graphed by tenement type and resource.

Using this graph, we can focus on different tenement types and resources, such as mining leases which relate to gold.

As for our previous post, we made some assumptions in analysing the data, but we believe it still provides some insights into mergers and acquisitions activity in relation to Queensland resource projects.

This week at Tenementum, we are investigating changes in the name of tenement holders of current Queensland resource tenements over time in a bit more detail.

For this graph, we weighted each transfer of an ownership interest according to the percentage interest transferred.

By way of example, if a holder transferred a 50% percentage interest in a tenement in a year, then we counted that as 0.5.

This avoids the 'noise' that might otherwise result from counting a transfer of a small percentage interest as equal to the transfer of a 100% interest.

As for our previous post, we made some assumptions in analysing the data, but we believe it still provides some insights into mergers and acquisitions activity in relation to Queensland resource projects.

This week at Tenementum, we graphed the changes in the name of tenement holders of Queensland tenements over time.

We made some assumptions in doing so, but we believe it still provides some insights into mergers and acquisitions activity in relation to Queensland resource projects.
